Sandy Mers Co-Founder

Sandy Mers is a consultant and respected speaker. She spent numerous years in the classroom, as a building administrator, and currently is the assistant superintendent of the South Point Local School District. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education (Pre-school through 8th grade, multi-subject), a Master's of Education in curriculum and instruction, a Master's of Education in educational administration plus an endorsement for the superintendency as well as being a National Certified Teacher in English Language Arts. Sally Summerfield Co-Founder

Sally Mills Summerfield came to education from the medical field.  She worked as a medical microbiologist and laboratory instructor.  Love of education led to a career in college and high school science education and to her current position as a guidance counselor.  Sally received a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Technology and a Master’s of Education in Counseling with specialized training in both microbiology and school finance. Presentations have included the (NABT) National Association of Biology Teachers Convention,  (SECO) Science Education Council of Ohio, Ohio’s Teaching and Learning Conference, (OACHE) Ohio Appalachian Center for Higher Education,  (HSTW) National High Schools that Work Conventions & Ohio High Schools that Work Conventions, Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators Conference, Ohio’s School Improvement Conference, National Career Pathways Network Conference & Ohio’s Career Pathways Network Conference.  Sally Mills Summerfield continues to serve as a presenter and consultant for education P-16.You can contact Sally directly at mersfield@educationalinsightllc.com
